Software: VLC Media Player 0.9.9

Even the broken movie file can be played nicely

I am not a fan for other media player out there, of course there are so many format of movie and for every single format, there is/are special stand alone media player created for them, to optimize everything from sounds to the visual quality of the movie. However as a simple minded end user, I always attached all video codecs into a single player, windows media player to be exact. However, when it comes to a broken movie (the extractor told you, yet the file is there after the extraction - from the whole length of movie, maybe there is just a portion 2-3 seconds broken and that makes the whole one and a half hour of movie file corrupt) the media player proved so many times fail to run it. However there is a great solution, VLC media player are able to play this kind of movie without any trouble, and thanks to this player, sometimes I am now can possibly investigate the quality of unfinished downloaded movies (movie that comes from so many parts), so I am not wasting my precious time downloading any trash. Now I know why this lousy-not-beautiful-at-all player is quite popular/most used/most recommended media player around the globe.

Features:
* Cross platform/portable
* Capable of reading most audio and video formats (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, DivX, MPEG-1, mp3, ogg, aac ...) as well as DVDs, Audio CDs VCDs, and various streaming protocols. See all features here.
* Not satisfied with the defaut appearance of the player? You can download the skin/theme file here.
